AND YET ANOTHER NEW CAST MEMBER...
joining the cast is tiny Miss Lucy Young, our new member playing the part of baby "Promise". So far she has even attended her first rehearsal out at Dick Olson's cabin. Just weeks old and already a shinging star! Thank you Ben and Marlene Young!

And speaking of Marlene Young, we have another update on cast, as has been agreed upon by all members, Marlene will now be playing the part of A.M. Leander, and we will try to recast her former part of Venny Toy.

Some more news for the New Year! In scouting for an A.M. Leander, we were fortunate to find Lara Maddox to cast for the part of 'Etta', who appears in the last part of the movie. Animated, expressive, talented AND a Girl Scout mom, Lara has injected our company with the idea to do some fundraising! This is especially important since, May 1 is when we've set a goal for filming in L.A. That means cast members, crew spending a week on a little 'campout' to put together the last and very climactic scene for Plasma Dreams! So we are very thankful for Lara signing onto the company and already have several fund raisers planned!

Hey what a day we had Monday! November 12th. With the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up, we here at Plasma Dreams Progress, get to celebrate getting yet another scene in the can, as we wrapped up some location shooting out at Chena Hot Springs Road!

First, THANK YOU LORD! For provision, safety, and inspiration.
THANK YOU Bob Kreiser for the use of an awesome Winnebago, and especially for taking a part in the acting, after only a night to prepare.
THANK YOU Ray Midey, for buying the gas and propane we used to keep that thing running all day.
THANK YOU Jenny Tse, for your focused acting of the part Lisa Tang. You are wonderful, and such a trooper for spending several hours being exposed to the cold.
THANK YOU Steven for coming with us, and all the help you added from blanketing Jenny, to sharing the knowledge you have of film making to general encouragement for our project.
THANK YOU Archie Wollman and Family!! (Hi Kelsey) Your skill and resources of shooting film outdoors, is over the top wonderful! And thank you for spending most of your time that day outdoors. I know some of us got to enjoy the inside of that Winnebago, more than others. I thank your family, because I also know scheduling our project, is done between meeting the needs of your family, and I appreciate their patience.
THANK YOU Eric. Author and cheerleader

    Hey!

The movie production made the local Fairbanks NBC newscast last night, so I thought I drop you a note wishing your endeavor much success.

I was working out at HIPAS last year, and Richard mentioned your novel but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

I doubt I can be much help to the production effort, but now that I know about that blog I'll probably be watching it regularly for updates.

    Good luck!

Greetings everyone! It just so happen that I came acrost this verse and the following commentary, just before one of our meetings.

I've decided to share it here, as an inspiration to our work:

    Exodus 35:30-33

And Moses said tho the children of Israel, :See, the Lord has called tby name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and undertanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of artistic workmanship".

This Scripture especially sticks out to me, because through the Holy spirit, the gifts of artwork were bestowed on this individual, as well as on us.

"When artistic talent is enlivened by the Spirit of God, it becomes an act of worship that then can become a witness to point people to
christ. God has greatly enriched our lives with beauty. And we in turn express our gratitude by displaying His glory in our art." -Julie Ackerman Link-

"God delights in the creative gifts He has granted to us. Johann Sebastian Bach wrote at the bottom of each of his music compositions the letters S.D.G., which stood for Soli Deo Gloria-to the glory of God alone. The great composer's motto reminds us of Paul's admonition, "Whatever you co, do all to the glory of God" (1Cor.10:31) -HDF

    Hi,
Just thought I'd let you know I connected with Rob Evert of Evert's Air! He was really nice, and not taken aback by my request to use one of their planes for the movie! (Did you know that a fuselage he sold to a movie company was used in the film "Alive")?
Anyways please forgive my ignorance, but I don't know the name of the make or model of the aircraft, and I do know that it is smaller than a commercial jet, so if we want to use it, that first scene will need some adaptation, but I'm thinking it could very well work!
Rob told me, the newly redone airplane has 2 seats on one side and one on the other. It's possible to schedule a time to use it, Monday thru Friday 8-4pm since it is primarily just sitting around right now!
So ACTRESSES ....how is your rehearsals going?
ERIC - Are you familiar with the plane I'm talking about? I'll go see if I can grab some stills of it, so you can see if you approve. Can we post photos to this site?
CAMERA CREW - How ya doin'? Are we going to have some time soon to do make the first scene in our movie?
ERIC/EVERYBODY we need a name for this production company! What do you suggest?
    .....AND WE'RE OFF...!!! :-]
